Dalkia UK is dedicated to delivering exceptional engineering solutions. We are currently looking for a Project Control Specialist to enhance our Specialist Services team in Macclesfield.

Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Project Control Specialist is to assist project teams in providing comprehensive planning and monitoring services. This role is crucial for establishing, documenting, and demonstrating project activities, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with planning procedures by identifying project scope, significant constraints, and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and agree on essential construction methods, sequencing, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • Drive the project through a well-structured programme schedule.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate detailed plans by managing project timelines and resources, including personnel, budgets, and reporting on progress and productivity.
  • Lead project review meetings, ensuring the programme schedule is the focal point of project management.
  • Analyze complex programmes, identify challenges, and implement necessary changes in line with business objectives.
  • Engage with project teams to provide insights on improving efficiency while considering operational contracts.
  • Present forecasts regarding completion dates and overall project timelines, including cost assessments.
  • Maintain the quality standards of the PDS system and identify areas for improvement.
  • Regularly attend project sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to the latest programme.
  • Develop resource programmes throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering to completion.

Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Contracting Operations (planning).
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant project planning experience in a contracting environment or equivalent skill set.
  • Understanding of earned value analysis and productivity metrics.
  • Proficient in planning techniques and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with various tender and contract documents.
  • Knowledge of risk and opportunity management in relation to planning.
