We are seeking a compassionate and positive Behavioural Improvement Officer to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Behavioural Improvement Officer, you will work with primary school pupils in Witney, West Oxfordshire, to provide support and guidance in a challenging environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will be working with pupils aged 7-11 years old, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioural support to pupils in a primary school setting
  • Work with pupils to develop positive relationships and improve their behaviour
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour management strategies
  • Provide guidance and support to pupils on a one-to-one basis
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive school environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Mental Health (desirable)
  • Child-related Mental Health qualifications (fantastic)
  • An up-to-date enhanced DBS check
  • Previous experience working with children and young people
What We Offer
