Job Title: Data Governance Manager

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to lead the development and implementation of a cohesive data strategy, policies, and standards for ADUSA Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a data governance framework that ensures the right level of leadership and accountability for data across ADUSA Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and lead the data governance and management operating model within ADUSA Finance.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive vision and strategy for ADUSA Finance data.
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of standard data management processes related to master data change, data issue resolution, quality management, demand, and use.
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key business stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of an effective governance framework and reporting structure.
  • Coordinate cross-functional and global alignment regarding data policies and standards related to quality management, change, and use of data at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop data governance and management-related metrics to drive ongoing evaluation and improvement across key operating model components.
  • Provide thought leadership and actively engage in industry data initiatives, forums, and working groups representing ADUSA.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in Data Governance or related experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of dynamic experience in leadership roles within Finance, Accounting, or financial data analytics and reporting.
  • Deep expertise in the implementation of data strategy, governance frameworks, operating models, and key data management processes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working in a sophisticated multi-ERP system environment that includes SAP financials.
  • Demonstrates a proven record of success in enabling technologies and the impact on Data Analytics and Reporting, Finance, and accounting processes.
  • Ability to proactively identify and mitigate process risks within a cross-functional, global organization.
  • Experience leading projects in complex business environments.
  • Organization & Time Management - Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Relationship Management & Influencing - proven ability to develop strong relationships within and across functional areas.
  • Risk Management - Ability to proactively identify and mitigate process risks within a cross-functional, global organization.
  • Team Management - deep experience leading project teams, timelines, and milestones in complex business environments.
  • Talent Development - Ability to manage leaders and develop talent through education, coaching, and mentoring in alignment with enterprise goals and priorities.
