About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCTV Controller to join our team at ABM UK. As a CCTV Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and associated equipment in our control room, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and associated equipment in the control room
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, taking ownership of the situation through to its natural conclusion
  • Manage and monitor access and egress to and from the service yards and management office
  • Ensure the shopping centre is a safe and non-threatening environment for all customers and site staff
  • Support the soft service manager to ensure the necessary security audits are undertaken and any non-compliance highlighted and managed to completion
  • Manage excellent relationships with our client, our suppliers, and other partners
  • Interact with all visitors and tenants within the shopping centre, delivering first-class customer-focused service
Requirements
  • Strong IT ability, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience operating fire alarm systems in a busy environment
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of the local area
  • Excellent levels of customer service always
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence
  • CCTV/Security control room experience
