Senior Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Ophthalmology team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with ophthalmic conditions, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinating and providing skilled nursing care to patients with ophthalmic conditions
- Participating in the continued development of nursing, including supervision, teaching, and development of junior nurses and support staff
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an allocated patient group, considering individual needs and using prioritization and delegation skills
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to facilitate holistic care delivery for all Trust patients
- Providing leadership to junior staff and managing the ward/unit in the absence of the ward manager
