Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team. As an Insurance Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of insurance accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of premiums, and providing reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of insurance accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of premiums.
- Provide reports to internal and external stakeholders on facility performance.
- Build relationships with colleagues, brokers, underwriters, and coverholders to support the maintenance of your portfolio.
- Create and support others with the production of premium bordereaux.
- Manage binder transactions and maintain reports to monitor premium levels and outstanding balances.
- Proactively manage ledgers to ensure the set-up of facilities and clearance of funds falls within agreed targets.
- Oversee key metrics for your individual portfolio and support the team to meet overall targets.
- Work with the wider Technical Management Team to support the smooth running of all facilities.
- Engage with the continuous improvement plan within the team, taking ownership of relevant projects and collaborating with colleagues to complete these.
- Look for ways to improve processes or management of ledgers and proactively create solutions and projects to achieve this.
- Work closely with our Mumbai colleagues to support the facilities which fall under your remit to oversee.
- Peer review of colleagues' work.
Requirements
- Excel/Microsoft Office skills with the ability to pick up in-house systems quickly.
- Excellent query resolution/problem-solving skills.
- The ability to prioritise and manage a workload in order to meet deadlines and KPI's.
- Good standard of education.
