Job Description

Role Overview

A dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant is required to join the team at a 2-form entry primary school in Camden. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to students with SEN
  • Assist students with their learning, including reading, writing, and numeracy
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of SEN and how to support students with a range of needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
