EMEA Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Payroll Specialist to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for EMEA countries with utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for EMEA countries, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of employee records and business information.
- Play a key role in expansion initiatives, including managing the implementation of 3rd party vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance in multiple countries.
- Contribute to the long-term development of the payroll function, providing a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timeliness and accurate processing of payroll inputs, work closely with the 3rd party payroll provider, and communicate effectively.
- Identify and drive continuous performance improvement projects to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
- Prepare global payroll data for payroll processing by third-party payroll administration partners, ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company's payrolls.
- Perform audits and validations of payroll transactions, maintaining confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information, and proprietary information.
- Ensure timely preparation, processing, maintenance, and distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, all tax year-end reports, payroll manuals, and related payroll working instructions.
- 6-8 years of experience in international payroll administration in Shared Services center environment.
- Experience in working with a third-party payroll services provider, such as ADP.
- Technical background on dealing with Time and Attendance system, Payroll and HRIS systems interfaces.
- Experience in payroll system implementation – data validation and data analysis.
- Understanding of SOX Compliance controls for Payroll processes.
- Basic knowledge of payroll accounting.
- Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in another European language, such as Italian or Spanish, is preferred.
