About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to lead our team in providing exceptional patient care and medication management services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and effective use of medications, developing and implementing medication management strategies, and providing expert advice to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the pharmacy team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and medication management services.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Medication Management
    • Develop and implement medication management strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce medication errors.
    • Conduct regular medication reviews to ensure patients are receiving the most appropriate medications and dosages.
  • Patient Care
    • Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on medication-related issues and develop education programs to improve medication knowledge and skills.
    • Develop and implement patient education programs to improve medication adherence and outcomes.
  • Quality and Safety
    • Develop and implement quality and safety initiatives to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
    • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
    • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a pharmacist.
    • Pharmacist independent prescriber registration.
  • Experience
    • Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Experience in medication management and patient care.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
    • Expertise in medication management and patient care.
