We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as Lead Clinical Pharmacist. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist looking to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and medicines optimisation services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve medicines use and reduce waste, working closely with the clinical team and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular clinical audits and quality improvement activities to ensure compliance with CQC and other professional standards.
- Develop and deliver education sessions and training to clinical and non-clinical staff on medicines issues.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on medicines-related matters to doctors and other clinicians.
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Membership as a practising pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Pharmacist independent prescriber registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Experience in a leadership role and working in a primary care setting.
- Knowledge of medicines schemes such as MOF and Eclipse.
