We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team as a Lead Clinical Pharmacist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking practice, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Develop and implement patient-facing services and clinics to improve patient outcomes and shift workload from other disciplines.
  • Conduct high-quality medication reviews and develop bespoke medicines treatment plans for patients, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Improve the quality and effectiveness of prescribing through clinical audit and education, ensuring compliance with NICE standards and other clinical guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver education sessions and training to clinical and non-clinical staff on medicines issues.

Person Specification
  • An undergraduate Master's Degree or equivalent in Pharmacy.
  • Membership as a practising pharmacist with The General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Commitment towards continuing professional development in accordance with requirements of The General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Pharmacist independent prescriber registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Post-graduate qualification to Diploma or Masters level in a recognised area of pharmacy practice or advanced clinical practice.
