About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team at Cornerstone Children's Homes Ltd. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish and maintain effective policies and procedures for the home.
  • Provide high-quality personal, social, and emotional care for children and young people, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist in admissions and discharges from the home, ensuring a smooth transition for young people.
  • Develop and manage an outreach service for young people and their families, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of young people's progress and LAC documentation.
Requirements
  • Hold a full driving license with own vehicle and car insurance with business use.
  • Have a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
