About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at Aspirations Care Ltd. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support services to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans that promote independence, choice, and well-being.
  • Lead and manage a team of support staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional care services.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of service user progress and care plans.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 and a willingness to work towards a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
