We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Administer IV antibiotics to patients and train them to self-administer at home
- Assess and coordinate the care of patients requiring nurse-administered antibiotics at home or in the OPAT clinic
- Act as a liaison point for OPAT patients and their carers throughout their treatment journey
- Liaise with community staff to monitor patient progress and provide support as needed
- Participate in the nurse-led skin and soft tissue infection service
- Provide vascular access advice and troubleshooting across the trust
- Contribute to education and audit of OPAT services, invasive line care, and management

Requirements- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Part 1 Adult / General Level 1 or 2)
