We are currently seeking an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across a designated region, focusing on the effective management and resolution of numerous employee relations cases in alignment with company policies and procedures.

This position requires collaboration with a broader team located throughout the UK and Ireland, necessitating occasional travel to various company sites, including regular monthly meetings.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong generalist capabilities, adept at managing a diverse workload while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to service level agreements, alongside undertaking project responsibilities.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a substantial volume of employee relations cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and compliant handling of issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into employee grievances and related matters, gathering pertinent documentation and interviewing involved parties to evaluate the credibility of information.
  • Provide expert advice and support to both managers and employees regarding employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and performance management.
  • Develop and implement effective action plans to address employee relations challenges, recommending appropriate disciplinary measures or performance improvement strategies as necessary.
  • Design and facilitate training sessions aimed at educating managers on best practices in employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records related to employee relations, including investigation summaries and disciplinary documentation.
  • Collaborate with line managers to monitor and manage employee absences effectively, utilizing occupational health resources when appropriate.
  • Partner with local management to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of company culture and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience focused on employee relations.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Proven track record in managing a high volume of employee relations cases with successful outcomes, ideally in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple cases concurrently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to independently evaluate situations and provide sound recommendations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with employees, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in executing large-scale change management initiatives.
