About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assistant Merchandiser to join our Commercial Team at Secret Linen Store. As a key member of our team, you will play a fundamental role in planning and managing our department's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales, margin, and stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with other teams to influence and shape business decisions with our Channel Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Manage the Merchandising Assistant and Merchandising Admin Assistant to ensure maximum efficiencies in all our processes.
  • Develop strategic product development plans, financial target proposals, and implement product ranges.
  • Analyze and provide detailed seasonal sign-offs to directors and other stakeholders across the business.
  • Create new sales-driving strategies and processes to drive business growth.
  • Assess and approve monthly sales and stock forecasts, challenging the team to reduce risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Develop seasonal and promotional pricing strategies to meet sales and margin expectations.
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments across the business to successfully land ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of merchandising experience in fashion or home retail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in merchandising tools and software, e.g., Excel, inventory management systems, e-commerce platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment managing multiple projects and deadlines.
