Position Overview:
We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join Capita as a Building Management, Energy Project Technician.

This is a permanent full-time position that will involve supporting various educational institutions with their heating control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering a comprehensive Building Management System (BMS) service, ensuring effective operation and ongoing support for our clients' energy management systems.
  • Identifying and resolving heating issues through the BEMS, ensuring prompt rectification of faults.
  • Assessing energy-saving initiatives and assisting in the formulation of strategies aimed at reducing energy consumption.
  • Investigating instances of high energy usage and pinpointing areas of excessive waste.
  • Advocating for the Energy Management Team and its services among our current clients and potential partners.
  • Collaborating with the team to uphold high standards of energy management, focusing on cost-effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Supporting the Energy Team Leader and colleagues in enhancing operational methods and fostering effective interdepartmental relationships to maximize the benefits of integrated energy management solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
  • HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with Trend systems and familiarity with other BEMS manufacturers.
  • Proficient in System Link software.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working within educational environments.
