About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Software Engineer to join our team at Vitality. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining Salesforce and its associated integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: You will be responsible for building, maintaining, testing, delivering, releasing, and documenting user-friendly and customer-centric software solutions.
  • Deliver to Standards: You will ensure that all software development meets Vitality's defined technical and process standards, and that you adhere to and apply these standards in all your work.
  • Provide Integrated Solutions: You will work with multiple teams and platforms to ensure that solutions are user-focused, strategically aligned, and effectively integrated.
  • Engage Stakeholders: You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and propose and specify solutions.
  • Build and Transfer Skills and Knowledge: You will take responsibility for developing your personal skills and expertise, and assist more junior Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate within and across Teams: You will work effectively with others across varying areas of expertise to achieve the required results.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM).
  • Practical experience configuring Salesforce (coded and declarative).
  • Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including security model (permissions & sharing).
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with integrating with 3rd party applications using REST API's and middleware.
