We are in search of an Automotive EMC Specialist who will collaborate directly with an automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to ensure effective EMC delivery for their vehicle programs.

The ideal candidate will be a project engineer or manager with a strong customer-centric approach, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a clear command of the English language for both written and verbal communication. You should possess excellent organizational abilities, be dependable, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team under tight deadlines. Location: Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days travel to Essex)

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the program delivery team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and drafting EMC documentation (test plans, test reports, etc.).
  • Collaborating with internal EMC team members and managing all project interactions.
  • Providing status updates and scheduling reports to project and program stakeholders.
  • Coordinating vehicle EMC chamber bookings.
  • Ensuring that vehicle programs are managed and thoroughly validated against OEM and international EMC standards.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a solid customer focus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex vehicle system projects.
  • Prior experience as an engineer in the automotive sector, collaborating closely with various engineering disciplines and teams.
  • Experience in metrics tracking and reporting for hardware projects.
  • Ability to identify obstacles and develop effective remediation plans.
  • Capability to prioritize new tasks and adapt to rapidly changing program demands.
  • Understanding of UNECE Reg 10 or similar requirements.
