The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator to enhance our Medical Education Department.
This department is pivotal in the development, management, and delivery of high-quality medical educational services, ensuring compliance with the standards set by the General Medical Council and NHS England.
The successful candidate will play a vital role within the Undergraduate Team, focusing on the organization, coordination, and support of medical student placements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and coordination of placements for Year 3 and Year 5 medical students.
- Collaborate with various medical schools to ensure a seamless educational experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Adapt quickly to changing circumstances and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This full-time position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and is based at Maidstone Hospital.
The Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator will work closely with the Undergraduate Manager, Deputy Undergraduate Manager, and fellow administrators to support the educational program.
