Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer to join our team at KM Education Recruitment Ltd. As a Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Support: Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
- Functional Skills Support: Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Diary Management: Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
- Travel and Flexibility: Must be flexible with travel and have a full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
- Experience: Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5.
- Occupational Competency: Hold a minimum of 2 years' occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
- Residential Childcare Qualification: Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
