Residential Childcare Training Specialist

KM Recruitment is a leading UK-wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to assess and support learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Residential Childcare and experience in delivering Apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
- Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
- Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise, and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
- Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA, or a Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
- Ideal experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare up to Level 5.
- Hold a minimum of 2 years' occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
- Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
