GSL Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a Primary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and be able to provide individualized support to pupils in Year 6.
About the Role:- Supporting children with special educational needs
- Providing 1:1 individual support for Autistic children
- Working closely with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support ASD pupils
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Ability to support pupils with Autism
- Basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children
- Knowledge and ability to implement strategies to support ASD children
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Potential to secure a permanent contract
