Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant

Location: East London

Salary Scale: Up to £100 per day

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a Primary school in Tower Hamlets, East London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and be able to provide individualized support to pupils in Year 6.

About the Role:
  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Providing 1:1 individual support for Autistic children
  • Working closely with teachers to develop and implement strategies to support ASD pupils
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Ability to support pupils with Autism
  • Basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children
  • Knowledge and ability to implement strategies to support ASD children
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
