Mountain Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Paediatric & Adult Administrator/Crisis Worker at our Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Sussex. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who have experienced sexual assault.

As an integral part of our SARC, you will provide vital support and care to victims, empowering them during challenging times. Your responsibilities will encompass both administrative and crisis worker duties, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the SARC, including managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
  • Offer compassionate crisis intervention and emotional support to individuals who have experienced sexual assault.
  • Assist patients in navigating the legal and medical systems following an assault.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including nurses, doctors, and social workers.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict ethical guidelines.
