Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Smart Teachers. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and teaching a class of 7 pupils with complex needs, aged 4-19 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support SEN pupils in a classroom setting, working closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure individualized learning plans are implemented.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of SEN pupils, promoting independence and enterprising skills.
  • Collaborate with the school's established team to provide high-quality education that inspires children to reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of a child-centered approach to teaching and learning, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and expertise, promoting a culture of continuous professional development.

  • Experience working with SEN pupils in a teaching environment.
  • Passion for the progress and well-being of SEN school pupils.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible approach to support the school's requirements.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
