Job Summary

The Trust Fire Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of fire safety services across the Trust's sites. This position requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, risk management, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Trust's fire safety strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and NHS requirements.
  • Lead projects aimed at maintaining and improving fire safety equipment, including budget management for fire safety compliance works and remedial works.
  • Oversee the management of the Trust workforce in fire safety training, fire evacuation strategy, fire safety management, risk assessment, and fire safety asset management.
  • Set and maintain standards for operating governance, risk, and compliance procedures.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and review operational policies, identifying new and emerging risks and addressing them.
