Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychology graduate or student to join our team at a Primary School in Lewisham. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and a passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assist children with SEN/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Work closely with children who are non-verbal
  • Support pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitor and record interventions
Requirements
  • Hardworking graduate/student with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience working with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with non-verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
  • Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
