Psychology Placement Opportunity

We are seeking a graduate or psychology student to join our dedicated and supportive team at a fantastic Secondary School located in Islington. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with children who are non-verbal
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions

Requirements:

  • A hardworking graduate or student with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with non-verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
