The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Letchworth. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with customers over the trade counter and by telephone to provide expert advice and support
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities to grow branch sales and margins
  • Working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve sales, gross margin, and other key business targets

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including 23 days' annual leave, pension scheme, and death in service scheme.

Key Accountabilities

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Helping to exceed branch sales, margins, and gross profit targets
  • Complying with company audit requirements
  • Responding positively and effectively to customer needs
  • Providing expert advice and support to customers over the trade counter and by telephone
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities
