Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate specializing in Peptide Synthesis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in solid phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), utilizing both manual and automated synthesis technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in Peptide Synthesis, focusing on innovative synthesis methodologies derived from SPPS for creating new therapeutic peptide classes.
- Develop and implement novel peptide synthesis techniques based on proprietary advancements from Imperial College London.
- Perform detailed analyses of peptide reaction mixtures and complex organic liquid compositions.
- Utilize RPLC and HPLC, alongside high-resolution mass spectrometry, for the evaluation of peptide reaction outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and present research findings at academic conferences.
- Contribute to the publication of research results in reputable scientific journals.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in solid phase peptide synthesis.
- Proficient in peptide synthesis techniques, including Fmoc and Boc chemistries.
