About the Role

Priory Hospital Dewsbury is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Older Adults or General Adult Psychiatry with extensive experience in managing Dementia. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients with dementia, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to dementia care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.

Requirements
  • CCT (or equivalent) in Older Adult Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry with extensive older adult experience.
  • Meet regulatory requirements, including GMC registration and revalidation.
