Main Job Details

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Hospital Dewsbury, specializing in Older Adults or General Adult Psychiatry with experience in managing Dementia.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to patients with dementia, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and support to patients.
  • Work closely with the Specialist Physical Health Nurse and visiting GP to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the service.

Requirements
  • CCT (or equivalent) in Older Adult Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry with extensive older adult experience.
