Responsibilities:

  • Oversee an efficient contact and referral service in compliance with statutory regulations for all assigned children and families, ensuring the quality of service and assessing risk levels to safeguard children's welfare.
  • Provide advisory support and guidance to service users, directing them to community resources and services.
  • Manage the statutory assessment process under the S47 Children Act 1989 and facilitate Child Protection Conferences.
  • Offer professional advice and expertise on complex cases and practice issues to ensure appropriate safeguarding measures are in place for children.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
  • Experience in Referral and Assessment, preferably with management responsibilities
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • An up-to-date DBS check
