Rehabilitation Care Worker

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our rehabilitation team as Rehabilitation Care Workers. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and re-enablement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals, following personalized care plans to maximize independence.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation, ensuring the individual's comfort and dignity.
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in your care, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
  • Contribute to light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assist individuals with mobility issues, using proper lifting and transferring techniques to prevent injury.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Utilize IT systems to accurately document care provided, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to follow care plans effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle.
