Warehouse Operations Manager

Sikla UK is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations in Milton Keynes, UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise warehouse operatives, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
- Ensure open communication between the Warehouse and other departments.
- Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to customers.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted efficiently, complying with company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for improved efficiency.
- Identify and implement potential process improvements.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Maintain work schedules and daily planning.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain colleagues to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Proven experience in warehousing, with leadership, management, or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Clear and concise written and spoken English communication skills.
- Good work ethic and commitment to the organization and its members.
- Highly organized with a strong approach to prioritization.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight timescales with initiative and drive.
- Attention to quality and detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, with Forklift licenses.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy items.
- Right to permanent employment in the UK.
- Valid Driving License.
- Experience with Supervision of Fabrication/Manufacturing teams - preferred.
- Working Hours: Core working hours Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, occasional shifts rota Mon-Fri 7AM-10PM.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
