About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Care Team Member. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care plans are implemented and residents' needs are met.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in care.
