Development Operations Supervisor

Abbatt Property Recruitment is in search of a Development Operations Supervisor to ensure the efficient management of a residential project.
Salary: up to £40,000 based on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00am to 17:00pm
Location: Newbury
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential management or a similar capacity.
- Knowledge of fire safety systems, health and safety regulations, and emergency lighting protocols.
- Extensive background in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience overseeing contractors and construction activities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain high standards of building integrity.
- Ensure that all personnel on site deliver an efficient management service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
- Act as the primary liaison for customers, clients, and developers, ensuring that all aspects of the development are well-maintained and presentable.
- Identify training needs for the team and provide ongoing support and feedback to meet performance indicators.
- Oversee performance management, including scheduling and absence management, while ensuring adequate coverage for shifts.
- Manage budgetary constraints and review financial accounts, assisting in the preparation of service charges and financial reports.
- Facilitate proactive meetings with customers, contractors, and clients to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Investigate and respond to any complaints in a timely manner.
- Supervise contractors performing work on the development, ensuring quality and timeliness of all tasks.
- Report any irregular incidents to the development manager and respond to emergency inquiries as needed.
- Guide team members effectively, including attending to matters that require direct oversight.
