Supervisor UK - Newbury

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Zizzi UK - Newbury. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of front-of-house staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant, including managing cash handling, stock control, and health and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Assistant Manager to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service, sales, and profitability.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other operational expenses.
  • Provide coaching and training to front-of-house staff to improve their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
