Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring High-Quality Care by supporting and assisting residents with daily living tasks, as needed.
  • Supporting Staff Development by training and supervising junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work.
  • Responding to Resident Needs by answering the nurse call system, providing assistance as required, and responding promptly to messages.
  • Reporting Resident Well-being by liaising with GPs and support managers to ensure the best possible care for residents.
  • Conducting Regular Checks on residents at intervals determined by senior staff members.
  • Delivering Personalised Care by arranging rotas to meet the care requirements of residents, including medications, toileting, and bathing.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records by completing records to a satisfactory standard, including changeover and keyworker documentation.
