Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our IT Services organization at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and storing IT equipment and peripheral orders, as well as preparing IT assets for configuration, deployment, and shipping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and store IT equipment and peripheral orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare IT assets for configuration, deployment, and shipping in accordance with IT and Information Security policies.
  • Maintain inventory levels, including receiving, storage, organization, and auditing.
  • Prepare IT assets for transportation in line with IT and Information Security policies.
  • Manage returned IT assets for reuse, reverse logistics processes, or disposal.
  • Optimize existing shipping workflows to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
  • Document standard day-to-day operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in data management and reporting.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across several teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Transportation experience with Customer Returns, Hardware Orders, or backlog management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives.
