About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our well-established and supportive team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to the team, including daily liaison with staff at all levels and regular contact with service users and their families.

The role involves greeting service users, booking appointments, managing incoming correspondence, and performing other administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Manage incoming correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Book appointments and manage the team's schedule.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to service users and their families.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the effectiveness of the office environment.
Requirements
  • NVQ2 or equivalent / good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above.
  • Previous experience of working in an administrative environment using computerised data systems.
  • Understanding of Data Protection Act.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment.
