Key Responsibilities- Analyze weekly trading performance to identify trends and opportunities, preparing relevant reports as necessary.
- Manage category and SKU-level forecasts to optimize sales, stock levels, margin, and product availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability and address any supply chain gaps as they arise.
- Oversee the seamless execution of the booking process, managing exceptions across all channels.
- Communicate promotional volume requirements effectively.
- Facilitate the introduction of new products and vendor-specific promotions.
- Ensure promotional uplifts are accurately calculated and integrated into forecasting systems and reports.
- Monitor stock delivery timelines to maximize opportunities.
- Support the Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser in achieving merchandising milestones and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure timely stock delivery to the warehouse, aligning with agreed KPIs and timelines across all channels.
- Experience in an Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandise Admin role, or a relevant degree.
- Knowledge of allocation and inventory management.
- Proven experience in forecasting and maintaining a WSSI.
- Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- A proactive self-starter eager to develop professionally.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
