Our client, a well-established and reputable dealership in York, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join their growing team. Your Responsibilities- Utilize your technical expertise to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle systems, including electrical, engine, and mechanical components.
- Conduct thorough inspections and road tests to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
- Employ advanced diagnostic equipment to pinpoint and resolve issues specific to the franchise brand.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service and achieve team goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Proven experience as a Service Technician in a franchised dealer setting, ideally at a diagnostic or master technician level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A valid UK driving license and your own set of tools.
