About Greenfields Children's Service

Greenfields Children's Service is committed to partnering with young people and fostering their growth. We specialize in providing care for children who have experienced early trauma, CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation), HSB (Harmful Sexual Behaviour), and other complex needs. Our multi-disciplinary approach ensures that each child receives comprehensive support tailored to their unique circumstances.

Your Role as a Residential Support Worker

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive home environment for the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and support to children, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Implementing individualized care plans and supporting children's educational and therapeutic goals.
  • Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere through planned activities and outings.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as therapists, social workers, and teachers, to ensure holistic support for the children.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the children's care.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
  • Experience working in a similar setting (minimum 3 months preferred).
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their well-being.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
