Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to join our team at Maxim Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our High Speed 2 HS2 JV team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the principles of PC's TWC as defined in BS5975:2019, PAS8811:2017, and all other applicable standards, including HS2 and SCS TW Procedures and Technical Standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, checkers, and other parties to agree on the level of risk and design check.
  • Advise permanent works designers on temporary conditions and loads that should be considered in the permanent works design.
  • Ensure that on-site supervisors receive full design details, with significant risks and design limitations highlighted.
  • Oversee the maintenance and routine inspection of temporary works during use.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of experience in environmental advisory roles, preferably in the environment and construction industry, with projects in rail, highways, or tunnelling.
  • Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator, ideally on large civil engineering projects in rail, highways, or tunnelling.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Completed SMSTS (preferred).
