About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Aspectz Ltd. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users, ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person
- Maintain and install wireless and fibre infrastructure, including routers, switches, and other network devices
- Perform routine maintenance on PCs and associated IT equipment, including software updates and troubleshooting
- Administer bespoke IT systems, including CCTV and access control systems
- Install and configure CCTV systems, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Provide on-call assistance as needed, including remote access and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to resolve complex technical issues
- Work at heights, as required, to perform maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
- Excellent technical skills and experience in IT support and network engineering
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and other technical staff
- Ability to work at heights, as required
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in computer science or related field preferred
