About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our client's Legal team as an In-House Counsel. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a renowned FinTech brand, driving business growth and success through strategic legal advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and draft complex commercial contracts, including software licenses, digital and IT agreements, marketing agency and sponsorship contracts, procurement, and NDAs.
  • Provide expert advice on intellectual property, branding, social media, and advertising matters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement commercial strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of the Legal team's commercial law practice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant experience in commercial law, preferably in a FinTech or related industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary, bonus, 25 days' holiday (accruing one day a year to a maximum of 30), salary sacrifice car scheme, private health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and generous pension contributions.

Work Environment

The team operates a hybrid work model, with 10 days in the office per month. The offices are modern, vibrant, and offer ample parking and collaborative spaces. The location is easily accessible from the Northern Home Counties, parts of East Anglia, and the East Midlands.
