Payroll Supervisor

Concept Technical is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll processes within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate with HR and other departments to gather and verify employee data for payroll processing.
- Process and oversee weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in wages, overtime, and deductions.
- Review and approve payroll calculations, including wages, overtime, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Function as the key point of contact for all payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Review payroll reports before submission to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide ad hoc reports to stakeholders upon request.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices, implementing necessary updates or changes to payroll processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in payroll processing, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor or similar role.
- Managing payroll systems to ensure the accurate processing of payments to employees and HMRC.
- Knowledge of Pension regulations and employment tax.
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
- Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. SAP, Sage Payroll) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Firm knowledge of accountancy and Payroll standards.
- Strong modelling and analysis skills.
