We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Supervisor to join our team at Concept Technical. As a Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the payroll processes within our organisation.

• Oversee the payroll processing function and manage a team of payroll officers.
• Develop, train, guide, and support team members on procedures and policies.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments to gather and verify employee data for payroll processing.
• Process and oversee weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in wages, overtime, and deductions.
• Review and approve payroll calculations, including wages, overtime, and deductions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Run and verify Average Holiday Calculations.
• Function as the key point of contact for all payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Review payroll reports before submission to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Provide ad hoc reports to stakeholders upon request.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices, implementing necessary updates or changes to payroll processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in payroll processing, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and accuracy.

• Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor or similar role.
• Managing payroll systems to ensure the accurate processing of payments to employees and HMRC.
• Knowledge of Pension regulations and employment tax.
• Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
• Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
• Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. SAP, Sage Payroll) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Firm knowledge of accountancy and Payroll standards.
• Strong modelling and analysis skills.
