Position Summary:
The Associate will be integral to the execution of M&A transactions and advisory initiatives. Collaborating closely with senior colleagues, the Associate will engage in all facets of the deal lifecycle, from initial client discussions to finalizing transactions. This role presents a unique opportunity for a driven professional to gain substantial exposure to significant deals within the infrastructure sector while advancing their career in a vibrant and fast-evolving environment.
Key Duties:
- Transaction Execution: Assist senior team members in executing M&A transactions, which includes conducting financial analyses, valuations, and due diligence processes.
- Client Engagement: Take part in client meetings, prepare impactful presentations, and help cultivate client relationships.
- Market Analysis: Perform thorough industry and market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential transaction candidates.
- Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to facilitate transaction evaluations and strategic decision-making.
- Documentation Preparation: Aid in creating transaction-related documentation, such as information memoranda, pitch books, and marketing collateral.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, ideally within the infrastructure sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
- Analytical Acumen: A keen eye for detail, robust analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a small group setting.
